The waves are pretty strong, so it’s better to simply lounge on the sand, splash on the shore, or watch the surfers. Across the street is the sandy Playa Cocles, which is a regional favorite but not the best for swimming. Although reasonably close together, the property’s rich tropical garden offers a sense of privacy and Caribbean vibes.Īzania is about as close to the ocean as you can get without being a beachfront hotel.
